SHOWTIME DEVIN!
The 2009 Outlaw Dirt Kart Nationals are in the books with a 4th place finish in the big show and two 3rd place finishes in the qualifiers.
On Wednesday Devin had a camera crew from Des Moines channel WHO-TV 13 following him around at the beginning of the day. Sports broadcaster, Andy Fales, did a story on the Dirt Kart Nationals and interviewed Devin. "It was cool to see myself on TV" Devin said.
The week was long and hot and the team could not get the handling right on the 21 car. It was not the finishes we were hoping for, but all said and done, the Stew Hansen Dodge Jeep Avenger rolled back in the trailer in one piece after three hard days of racing.
The team returns to action Friday, August 28th at English Creek Speedway. With only three races left in the championship, Devin will be rolling in with a 114 point lead.
