Tanner Kay reaches five wins at Talladega Raceway Park; rain washes out David Kay

Kicking off a family doubleheader weekend, Tanner Kay unloaded his T&K Plumbing No. K5 machine at Talladega Raceway Park (Eastaboga, Ala.) on Friday evening.

Tanner swept the evening as he picked up a heat race win and led wire-to-wire in the 10-lap main event. The win marks his fifth-checkered flag of the season.

David Kay was slated to compete in both the CRUSA 604 and 602 Late Model divisions at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) on Saturday before a late rain shower washed out the event after qualifying.
