Chase Holland competes in XR Dominator main event at Salina Highbanks
After taking advantage of a sponsored entry to participate in the XR Dominator event at Salina Highbanks Speedway, Chase Holland and his Industrial Dock & Door No. 45 Modified team raced in the A-Main on Saturday.
The $100,000 to-win XR One Nation Under Modifieds (ONUM) program brought 66 cars to the 3/8-mile clay oval in Pryor Creek, Oklahoma. In Friday’s qualifying session, Holland turned in the sixth-quickest time in one of three groups.
The next day, Holland finished second in his heat race and fourth in the B-Main, putting him in the 60-lap finale. He started 19th in the race but ran into trouble shortly before halfway and was forced to retire. He finished 23rd.
