Chase Holland
Kankakee County victory for Holland
Chase Holland made a stop at Kankakee County Speedway in Kankakee, Illinois, on Friday and walked away with a $1,500 payday.
Holland swept the evening in the DIRTcar UMP Modified class at the quarter-mile oval, starting with a first-place qualifying effort. He went to win his heat race in his No. 45 Modified, then started fifth in the 25-lap feature. He ran in the first or second position for all but the first circuit of the main event and claimed the lead for good on lap 21. He took the checkered flag 2.683 seconds ahead of Brad DeYoung, with Jason Hastings, Adam Pockrus and Nicholas Lueth completing the top five.
The win was Holland's 13th of 2025.
On Saturday, Holland and his team moved on to I-55 Federated Auto Parts Raceway Park in Pevely, Missouri, where they were part of a 31-car Midwest Auto Racing Series (MARS) Modified Championship field.
Holland qualified 19th on the 1/3-mile track and finished fifth in his heat but did not start the 25-lap, $2,000-to-win A-Main.
