Susice, Wills, Pangrazio, Close, and Rouse Win on Pink Out Night at Ransomville

RANSOMVILLE, NY (July 18, 2025) Ryan Susice from Ransomville, NY won his first Krown Undercoating 358 Modified feature of the season on Pink Out Night and #TanaStrong Night at the Ransomville Speedway presented by Shelby Crushed Stone. Kevin Wills from Ransomville, NY won his first Stirling Lubricants DIRTcar Sportsman feature of the season, and first since August of 2018. Josh Pangrazio from Oakfield, NY won his ninth KiPo Chevrolet Street Stock feature of the season. Madyson Rouse from Fort Erie, Ontario won her first career Kevin’s Carpet Cleaning Novice Sportsman feature.

We cannot thank all the fans, drivers, officials, and crews that supported our Pink Out Night and thank all those that used the #PinkOutWNY on social media as we wore pink in solidarity and support of General Manager Tana Robinson and all of those who are affected by breast cancer. During intermission, the drivers did a “Pass the Helmet” and $1,650 was collected and will be donated to Roswell Park’s Angel Fund.

Noah Walker and Jesse Cotriss brought the Krown Undercoating 358 Modified feature to the green flag, with Walker taking the early lead ahead of Cotriss, Andrew Smith, Nelson Mason, and Chad Brachmann. Smith would go underneath Walker to take the lead on lap two. Following a lap four caution, Ryan Susice would use the outside to take over the lead, with Erick Rudolph and Chad Brachmann battled for third place. Brachmann would take second away on lap eight, with Rudolph and Mat Williamson racing in fourth and fifth respectively. Rudolph would get around Andrew Smith for third place on lap 10. Williamson and Rudolph would battle for third for several laps, as Ryan Susice continued to show the way up front. Brachmann, Rudolph, and Williamson continued to battle, as Gary Lindberg raced in fifth place. Susice would go on to score the win, his first of the season and 21st of his career, tying him with Lloyd Hold for 12th on the division’s all-time wins list.

Jim Harbison and Kevin Wills were on the front row for the Stirling Lubricants DIRTcar Sportsman feature event, with Wills jumping into the lead ahead of Harbison, Abby Castile, Austin Susice, and Derek Wagner. Wagner would move into third following a lap two restart. With Wills continuing the lead, Harbison raced in second ahead of Wagner, Brett Senek, and Brett Martin. Jake Bansmer would race his way into the top five as he passed Martin on lap nine after starting ninth on the starting grid. While in lap traffic, Derek Wagner would take over second place from Harbison on lap 16. Wills would go on to score the win, his first since August of 2018. Wagner would finish in second and Brett Senek would complete the podium.

Mike Kelly and Dave Stolzenberg Jr were on the front row for the KiPo Chevrolet Street Stocks with Kelly in the lead. The caution would immediately come out as Butch Zimmerman and Mick Kulak got together in turn one. The restart green would see Kelly in the lead ahead of Mike Welch and Stolzenberg. Welch would take over the lead on lap three, with Brandon Sherwood racing in second place. Josh Pangrazio would take over third and would take over second from Sherwood on lap eight. It would take Pangrazio just four laps to catch and pass Welch for the lead. Pangrazio would go on to score the win over Welch and Sherwood. Josh dedicated the win to the memory of Father Terry, who passed away 16 years ago on July 18.

Ben Hornquist and Ryan Hessler shared the front row for the Sunflowers of Sanborn Mini Stocks feature event, with Brandon Close quickly taking over the lead and pulling away from the field. Hornquist, Cole Susice, Jeffrey Wynes, and Matt Hornquist raced in the top five. Wynes would battle with Ben Hornquist for second and would take over the position with four laps remaining. Close would pull away from the field to earn his first career Mini Stock victory.

Johnny Zimmerman and Christian Soliday were on the front row for the Kevin’s Carpet Cleaning Novice Sportsman feature event, with Soliday taking off out front ahead of Madyson Rouse, Mike Seefeldt, and Chris Darling. Rouse would take over the lead on lap three, as Darling would go three-wide with Seefeldt and Soliday to take over second place. Rouse would hold off Darling on a late-race restart to earn her first career Ransomville checkered flag.

Next Friday night, July 25, Chris’s Appliance Repair presents Halloween in July and Autograph Night! Fans will have the opportunity to collect autographs and other goodies on the track during intermission. Pit gates will open at 5pm, grandstands at 6pm, and racing will get underway at 7:15pm.
