Weber Walks Away with 141 Win
Francis Creek, WI (August 14th, 2025) - Michael Weber has had a solid August to date, picking up three wins in three races. He came into 141 Speedway with one goal, win, and that he did, picking up his second Midwest Legends Dirt Series feature win in 2025.
The night, a reschedule from the previous night which rained out, drew a total of 18-cars. The event was changed to a non-points race due to the late rescheduling. Headlining the group were Ryan Sullivan and Hayden Schmuhl, who with the rainout the night prior, were named joint MLDS Weekday Warrior Series Presented by Spankins Motorsports Champions.
Three N&S Towing Heat Races were up first, with 2024 series champion Jackson Lewis picking up the win. Keith Moline and Sullivan battled out for the second place spot, with Moline coming out on top and Sullivan settling for third.
Glenn Mitchell picked up the second heat race win, just a day after picking up the only heat race of the rained out night. Weber jumped some spots to finish second, with Ryan Mech, fresh from getting out of work and almost missing the heat, bringing home third.
The final heat saw some young guns out front. Schmuhl picked up the win with his Beaver Dam teammate Talyn Neuman finishing second. Alex Haese, the only new car on the night who didn’t check in on the rained out night, brought the third spot home.
An experimental six-car redraw drew Weber and Lewis to the front row. The green came out and Weber got the jump, leading early until Lewis was able to find momentum and jumped to the lead. Weber fell back to the threat of Neuman, Moline, and Mitchell, who all pressured the #8 for the second spot. Neuman was the first to break through, but quickly came under fire from Weber and Mitchell again. With Lewis running away out front, Mitchell found speed on the bottom, and started to move, getting to second on lap seven. Mitchell caught up to Lewis and took a look for the lead, but calamity struck as the two made contact, sending Lewis spinning, and sending both to the back. Weber inherited the lead, with Neuman and Moline behind him. Green flew again and Neuman once again went to work on the leader. Schmuhl and Moline began to fight behind for third, with the pair side-by-side for a number of laps. The two Ryans, Sullivan and Mech, went at it for fifth for a bit as well. The two battled for third and fifth raged on as Neuman and Weber began to run away. The pink die hanging off Neuman’s car were showing aces, and he wanted to see that number one as well. He found the line and speed, getting to the rear bumper of Weber right before his motor began to sputter halting progress. Further behind, a wickedly fast Rob Maule, who had a quiet but effective night began to show up. All the way from the back row to the top five for Maule and he wanted more, dueling with Moline for fourth to the flag. Out front though, Neuman tried one last effort on the final lap for the lead, but came up just short.
Michael Weber continued his winning ways in August, picking up his second win in as many years at the track. Neuman brought home a career best second, with the team optimistic for that first win in 2025 still. Schmuhl came home third with Moline just edging out Maule for fourth on the final lap.
With the win, Weber picked up prizes from Rush Race Gear and Aero Race Wheels. With his twelve spot run, Maule brought home the Professional Plating and Rush Race Gear Hard Charger award.
The series takes a day off on Thursday before a trip to Chilton's Gravity Park on Friday the 15th, and a series debut in Door County, as the series takes on the fair night at The Hill Raceway on Saturday the 16th.
