Championship Week Wrap

Now the dust has settled we have a chance to provide a wrap up of our week of racing at Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway in Queensland.

Following a long 5 day trip across the country the Team Vosbergen Racing - TVR Rocket Chassis of Brent Vosbergen hit the ground running with a dominate performance on Wednesday night winning the Queensland State Championship.

A day of prepping the car Thursday and Calcutta in the evening saw Brent get auctioned off for a record $5000.

Friday Night was night #1 of the Australian Championship and Brent started off well with QuickTime in his group , 2nd in first heat, 4th in second heat from rear and ended up 3rd in the prelim feature.

Final night #2 had Brent out of P5 in Heat were he finished 4th.

Starting out of P6 in the 40 lap final, Brent quickly worked his way into 2nd and one point was challenging for the lead in lapped traffic, after several late race cautions Brent slipped up on the last lap to drop back to 3rd which is where he finished behind Darren Kane and winner Joe Chalmers.

We are very proud of Brent, the way he drove with so much pressure and expectation on him and our TVR team effort this past week, the car doesnt have a mark on it and all loaded up looking like the day we unloaded it with a QLD1 and AUS3 badge, we all thoroughly enjoyed the show Toowoomba Speedway and Late Models QLD put on all week.

Massive shout out to the sponsors that helped us get across the country to compete this past week:

Congrats to our good mate Team BCM Motorsport: Joe Chalmers on his AUS#1 win.

We are now looking forward to next season with the 2025 Australian Late Model Championship being back at the Perth Motorplex as part of a massive Late Model Speedweek.
