Trey Mills grabs Top-10 finish with Southern Thunder at Screven Motor Speedway

Back in his family-owned No. 14 for the weekend, Trey Mills joined the Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series in their first-ever weekend of competition at Screven Motor Speedway (Sylvania, Ga.) on Friday afternoon.

WIth 35 Late Models signed in for Winter Freeze XV, Mills qualified fourth-quickest in his qualifying group which automatically locked him into the $5,000-to-win main event. Trey completed all 40-laps and recorded a Top-10 outing in eighth.

Starting further back in the field for Saturday's $15,000-to-win finale, Trey charged through the field and rallied for a 13th-place finish.
