Fifth-place showing with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series at Sugar Creek Raceway
Headed to the Appalachian Mountains for the weekend, Trey Mills checked in with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series for the doubleheader at Sugar Creek Raceway (Blue Ridge, Ga.) and Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tenn.).
With over 30 Late Models on hand, Mills put down the fourth-quickest lap in his qualifying group before finishing second in his heat race. Trey made up three spots from eighth in the $8,000-to-win feature and rounded out the Top-5 in fifth.
Trey competed in the $15,000 King of the Mountain on Saturday evening where he would finish just outside the Top-10 in 11th.
Mills moved up to seventh in the HTFSDS point standings.
