Haiden Cowan grabs three Top-10 finishes on Hell Tour at Benton, Spoon River, and Red Hill
Losing Monday's opening event to Mother Nature, Haiden Cowan and his team rolled into Benton (Mo.) Speedway on Tuesday evening to kick off the fourth week on the DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour.
Laying down the quickest lap in his qualifying group, Cowan raced to a heat race victory and started on the outside pole for the 30-lap main event. With $5,000 on the line, Haiden recorded a strong Top-5 outing in fourth.
The following night, Cowan raced to another solid outing at Spoon River Speedway (Canton, Ill.) where he finished seventh.
With both Haiden and Gavin in action on Thursday evening, Haiden recorded a DNF at LaSalle (Ill.) Speedway while Gavin finished just outside the Top-10 with the Southern All Stars at I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tenn.).
For the holiday weekend, Haiden scored one more Top-10 finish with a ninth-place run at Red Hill Raceway (Sumner, Ill.) before finishing 17th in the $10,000-to-win Saturday show at Tri-State Speedway (Haubstadt, Ind.).
