Chamberlain captures first-career Ultimate Heart of America victory over Memorial Day weekend

Indiana Racer Nets Career Payday at 191 Speedway

RICHMOND, Ind. (05/28/25) – Tristan Chamberlain enjoyed a banner Memorial Day weekend, highlighted by the richest victory of his young career with a $5,000 triumph in Saturday’s Salute the Troops 40 at 191 Speedway.

The win came in Heart of America Ultimate Super Late Model Series competition aboard his Gibson Racing / Vision Woodwerx / KEG Nozzles No. 20c Infinity Chassis Late Model.

“I’m pretty sure this is my biggest win to this day, five grand, so it’s pretty cool. It’s great to do it with the Ultimate (Heart of America Series), I ran their series a bunch before in the past, so it’s great to get my biggest win with them so far,” Chamberlain said. “I figured (Derek Fisher) would be right on me (at the finish). That lapped traffic, you had get through it one way or another. I knew on the restarts he’d be right on me, so I was trying to protect my lane right around the tires as much as possible.”

The holiday weekend opened on Friday at Ohio’s Moler Raceway Park, where Chamberlain set the tone for his successful three-day run. After finishing third in his heat race, he started fifth in the 25-lap feature and powered his way to the front by lap 10. Chamberlain controlled the remainder of the race, ultimately taking the checkered flag ahead of Shane Bailey and Bill Sheets.

Continuing his weekend with the Heart of America Ultimate Super Late Model Series, Chamberlain rolled into 191 Speedway on Saturday for the Salute the Troops 40. The 17-year-old backed up a heat race win with a dominant, flag-to-flag performance in a caution-filled 40-lap feature. Skillfully navigating lapped traffic, Chamberlain secured his second consecutive victory and the richest payday of his young career.

He capped the holiday tripleheader on Sunday with another strong showing, finishing third at Mudlick Valley Raceway behind Mike Marlar and Justin Rattliff.
