Felker Continues POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series Championship Chase

Inside Line Promotions – CARL JUNCTION, Mo. (Sept. 10, 2013) – After playing crew member during a couple of sprint car races last weekend, Andrew Felker is ready to return to the seat for a pair of POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series races this weekend.

On Friday, Jacksonville Speedway in Jacksonville, Ill., hosts the Herb Barlow Memorial. It will mark the third time Felker has competed at the track this season.

“We’ve had a lot of success there and led a bunch of races, just haven’t been able to get our first win there,” he said.

Felker finished second early in the season and rebounded from the back to place ninth in his other race at Jacksonville Speedway.

Saturday will feature the Tom Knowles Memorial at Spoon River Speedway in Lewistown, Ill. It will be his first time at that track this season.

“This is definitely a big weekend for the championship,” he said. “We’ve had success at both tracks.”

Felker is second in POWRi points with seven races remaining.
