Dover Posts Podium at Rapid, Top Five at Jackson and Hard Charger at Huset’s

Inside Line Promotions – BRANDON, S.D. (July 28, 2025) – Jack Dover capped a busy week that featured three races at three tracks in three states by earning the Hard Charger Award for passing the most cars on Sunday at Huset’s Speedway.
“We were only a tenth off from being second in time trials,” he said. “That put us behind in the heat race. In the feature I told myself to survive because there’d be some accidents. That was how it played out. I kept my nose clean and we were able to get into the top 10.”
The Tim Estenson Motorsports driver qualified sixth quickest in his group and placed sixth in a heat race. Dover’s run from 17th to ninth place in the main event was his 16th top 10 of the season overall and seventh at the track.
Dover remains third in the Huset’s Speedway championship standings – 71 points out of the lead.
The week began last Tuesday at Rapid Speedway in Rock Rapids, Iowa, with the Cressman Sanitation Midwest Sprint Touring Series 410 Sprint Cars. Dover won a heat race from fourth before ending the night third in the main event.
“Track position was important,” he said. “There wasn’t a lot of passing in the feature. It was top dominant and kind of heavy. One of the guys running in the top three fell out and so that’s how we were able to finish third.”
Dover ventured to Jackson Motorplex in Jackson, Minn., on Friday for an MSTS 410 Sprint Cars event. He qualified 11th quickest and placed second in a heat race before recording a fifth-place finish in the main event.
“On a restart with about six or seven laps to go I pulled the wing back and started going through the middle and we were picking cars off,” he said. “I think we were ninth before that and really made up a lot of ground. We looked at our lap times after the race and we had a faster car than the guys in front of us.”
Dover currently has a 52-point lead in the MSTS 410 Sprint Cars championship standings.
He is bound for Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, this weekend. Dover plans to drive for Shayle Bade Racing on Friday and Saturday during the 35th Xtream powered by Mediacom 360 Knoxville Nationals presented by Great Southern Bank. He returns to the Tim Estenson Motorsports No. 53 on Sunday for the Avanti Windows & Doors Capitani Classic presented by Great Southern Bank.
