Dalton Jacobs opens 2025 season at Volusia Speedway Park for Sunshine Nationals
Losing Thursday's opening night to Mother Nature, Dalton Jacobs checked into Volusia Speedway Park (De Leon Springs, Fla.) on Friday afternooon to compete in the Crate Racin' USA portion of the Sunshine Nationals.
Jacobs charged from 12th-to-4th in his preliminary feature on Friday evening.
Dalton then qualified second-fastest in his qualifying group on Saturday which placed him on the second-row for the $10,000-to-win feature. Jacobs faded back through the field and eventually pulled off to record a DNF in 29th.
