Mechanical failure spoils victory at Southern Raceway with Southern All Stars
Following the tour to the Sunshine State, Matt Dooley checked into Southern Raceway (Milton, Fla.) on Friday afternoon for the Bash at the Beach with the Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series.
Setting quicktime out of 19 entries, Dooley led the first half of the 30-lap main event before breaking a rearend which ended his night early. He wound up 12th in the running order for the $3,000-to-win feature. Matt did not stick around for Saturday's $7,000-to-win opener.
