Jeremy Zumwalt Earns First Career Win
Doe Run Raceway's third event of the season proved to be a breakthrough event for Jeremy Zumwalt and the 21z MicroSprint. With the early season's mechanical and electrical woes corrected, Jeremy finally received the opportunity to see what the new Hyper Racing chassis would be able to offer, and it did not disappoint.
Jeremy started in the fifth position for the night's heat race, jumping to second by the second lap and holding that position until passing the 58H of Lucas Hanning with two laps to go. With his first career heat win he earned the opportunity to start the A main from the pole position.
From the start of the night's main event, Jeremy charged from the panel, and finally proved his ability by leading every lap for a commanding win, the first of his young career.
The entire team is proud of Jeremy's accomplishment, and we're all looking forward to this holiday weekends two events, at Doe Run Raceway to defend last weeks win and on July 2nd to try and improve on this year's performance at Bell-Clair Speedway.
