Justin Duty takes on Eldora
Double Duty Motorsports driver Just Duty traveled to Eldora Speedway during the first week in June to participate in the 31st annual Dirt Late Model Dream Week.
Competition kicked off at the half-mile oval in Rossburg, Ohio, on Wednesday with a FloRacing Night in America program featuring 85 Super Late Models. Duty drove his Don Frank Floors No. 15 machine to eighth in his heat race and seventh in his B-Main, bringing his evening to a close before the 50-lap, $20,000-to-win feature.
The Dream XXXI festivities brought 93 cars to the track, necessitating two nights of prelims. Duty raced on the Friday prelim night and turned in a fifth-place result in his heat, starting him 19th in the $30,000-to-win A-Main. He climbed six spots and came home in the 13th position.
Saturday saw Duty finish 12th in his heat race and he did not start his B-Main, ending his Dream Week in advance of the 100-lap, $100,000-to-win finale.
