Top-10 finish in March Madness at Cherokee Speedway

Trent Ivey made the short trip to Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) on Sunday afternoon to kick off his 2022 season with the Southern All Star Series. With 23 Late Models entered for the 23rd annual March Madness, Ivey timed in fifth-fastest in his group before placing fourth in his heat race. Starting the $10,000-to-win A-Main in 14th, Trent advanced forward seven spots in the 50-lap affair to register a seventh-place finish.
