Strong Top-5 outing with Crate Racin' USA at Needmore Speedway

Coming off his $20,000 triumph in the Blue/Gray 100, Trent Ivey returned to the Crate Late Model ranks on Friday afternoon at Needmore Speedway (Norman Park, Ga.) for the Crate Racin' USA-sanctioned Early Bird 50.

Finishing runner-up in a heat race, Ivey started Saturday's $10,000-to-win main event from the second-row and ran fourth after 50-laps. He trailed Joseph Brown, Cody Overton, and Mark Whitener while Trynt Lloyd completed the Top-5.
