Mack McCarter finds victory lane at Volunteer Speedway with American All-Stars

Bags $3,000 American All-Star Series Payday

GATLINBURG, Tenn. (05/13/25) – Mack McCarter made a strong debut in his brand-new Fiddy-One Race Cars Late Model over the weekend at Volunteer Speedway, powering to his first victory of the season in just his third start.

The Sevierville, Tennessee native charged from the fourth row to capture the $3,000 victory in Saturday’s Stars and Sprints 40, sanctioned by the American All-Star Series presented by PPM.

“The car got better and better as the night progressed,” McCarter said. “It took us a little while to get everything dialed in, but by the time the feature rolled around, we had it figured out. We’ve put a lot of time and effort into this new car, and I’m really excited with how it’s come together. A big thanks to my brother and the entire McCarter Brothers Racing crew for all their hard work.”

McCarter’s lone appearance of the weekend took place at Volunteer Speedway on Saturday, where the 4/10-mile oval hosted the American All-Star Series presented by PPM for the Stars and Sprints 40.

Making just his third start of the 2025 season, McCarter overcame a slow start in time trials by rallying from seventh-to-third in his heat race. Lining up eighth for the 40-lap feature, the Sevierville, Tennessee native steadily worked his way forward before positioning himself within striking distance in the race’s second half.
On a lap-28 restart, McCarter executed a bold third-to-first move in turn three to take control of the lead. He went on to lead the final 11 circuits, securing his first win of the season and a $3,000 payday.

McCarter Brothers Racing will resume competition this weekend, with Pierce McCarter slated to contend in the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series-sanctioned King of the Mountain Classic at Smoky Mountain Speedway, which boasts a $15,000 winner’s purse.
