Tifft earns 5th-place finish at Marion Center Raceway
Matt Tifft celebrated his recent purchase of Mansfield Motor Speedway with a top-five result in his first time behind the wheel since the major announcement.
On Saturday, Tifft was one of 19 Super Late Model competitors at the quarter-mile Marion Center (Pennsylvania) Raceway for a weekly program at the track. He drove his GUNK No. 57 machine to fourth in his heat race and rolled off 10th to begin the 25-lap feature.
He climbed to sixth early in the race and ultimately finished in the fifth spot, chasing Jon Lee, Levi Yetter, Dylan Cecce and Ryan Montgomery across the start-finish line.
