Fifth-place finish at Clay County Fair Speedway

After Tuesday’s opener was washed out by rain, Tim Ward returned to Clay County Fair Speedway on Wednesday for Round 4 of the IMCA Summer Nationals.

Ward was consistent all night, backing up a runner-up finish in his heat race with a solid fifth-place effort in the feature.

Looking for one final tune-up before the Clash at the Creek, Ward made a Saturday stop at 141 Speedway. Unfortunately, his night came to an early end after exiting on the second lap of the feature.
