Back 2 Back Nationals Winner

Johnny Kringas wins the 2016 Pro Division of the US Legend Car International Dirt Nationals held at 141 Speedway in Meribel WI. This win backs up his commanding win from the 2015 Dirt Nationals held in Cleveland TN.

Johnny, raced a very high line for most of the race, which he ran a completely different line than any of the other 17 Pro’s in the race. Trying to find the most speed he could for the set up Super Star car chief Mickey Kudlicki had in the car.

When the checker flag few Johnny finished in 2nd place, all watched as Johnny drove harder than anyone on the track, yet finished 2nd.

So how did Johnny win the race you may ask?

Well, the first place car was disqualified in post-race inspection for an Illegal modification to the motor. When this DQ happened the win went to Johnny.

This is the year ending race where more than 60 cars from 11 states came to race for the win and 17 were in the Pro Division National event.

This marks yet another win (9) for the All-Terrain Auto Body and Detail sponsored #10 Car this season.

In a very fitting end of the 2016 season is a WIN for Johnny and Mickey!

Capping off the season with 9 wins, Five- 2nd place finishes, 14 top 5 and 19 top 10 out of 20 races.

More impressive was 7 wins at different tracks!

In addition Johnny has 11, 1st place finishes in the Pro Division.

Due to the limited budget Johnny was only able to race 21 races in 2016 of which the top best 20 race finishes count toward points.

Currently Johnny is in 2nd place in the National Points, the person in first place has run almost 50 races for the top 20 race points.

As the 2016 Season comes to a close.
