Landen Zakalowski makes first-career start with Southern Thunder at Cherokee Speedway

Landen Zakalowski checked into Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) on Saturday afternoon for the $10,000 co-sanctioned Grassy Smith Memorial.

Among 30 Southern Thunder/Cherokee Chief entries, Zakalowski qualified 11th-quickest in his qualifying group before falling back in his heat race. Landen needed a Top-6 position in the last chance race and was unable to make it.
