Shane Clanton attends Prairie Dirt Classic at Fairbury Speedway

Not in attendance for the Wednesday night special at the facility, Shane Clanton kicked off his weekend at Fairbury (Ill.) Speedway on Friday evening for the first night of the Prairie Dirt Classic.

Among a huge 78-car field, Clanton missed the setup in qualifying before finishing 18th in his showdown feature.

Buried in a last chance showdown on Saturday, Shane made up eight positions but did not make the 100-lap main event.
