Rain takes out Angell Park Badger event
By Bryan Gapinski (Sun Prairie, WI) -- Late afternoon rain showers forced cancellation of the four-division event Sunday Night at Angell Park Speedway, featuring The Mid-State Equipment /Zimbrick Chevrolet of Sun Prairie Badger Midget Racing Series, Badger 600 Micro Series presented by Race Pass, Wisconsin Dirt Racing Legends Series, and the Dirt Kings Late Model Series.
Next Sunday July 9 will be the 36th annual "Pepsi Midget Nationals" featuring the POWRi Nationall Midget League & Badger Midgets. The Wisconsin Wingless Sprints, and Wisconsin Dirt Racing Legends will also compete. The annual Budweiser Fireworks display will occur after the races.
