Jeff Roth adds fourth-place finish in round two of Sydney Showdown
Jeff Roth's final two Australian races in January took place this past week at the immaculate Sydney International Speedway (Eastern Creek, NSW) for the Sydney Showdown doubleheader.
After timing in fifth-fastest in his group on Friday night, Roth advanced into the feature with a commanding win in his heat race. Nearly cracking the top-5, Jeff clawed to a fifth-place finish.
In a pair of heat races on Saturday evening, Jeff backed up a third-to-first run in his first heat with a fifth-place outing in the second round. Starting the feature in third, Roth rode to a fourth-place finish in the 25-lap affair. He chased Ben Nicastri, Todd Bayley, and Lachlan Onley to the checkers with Darryl Grimson coming in fifth.
