Ethan Dotson records pair of runner-up finishes at Senoia and East Alabama
Ethan Dotson and the ASD Motorsports team kicked off a busy three-day stretch in Georgia and Alabama with the Schaeffer's Oil Spring Nationals at Swainsboro (Ga.) Raceway on Friday evening.
With 30 Late Models in the pits, Dotson laid down the second-fastest lap in his qualifying group which locked him into the 40-lap main event. With $7,553 on the line, Ethan landed a Top-5 finish in fourth.
The following night at Senoia (Ga.) Raceway, Dotson started sixth in the $10,053-to-win show and made up four spots before the track locked down on the bottom. Ethan ran runner-up to Cody Overton while Ashton Winger completed the podium.
Closing out his weekend at East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Ala.) on Sunday, Ethan started ninth in the $10,000-to-win feature and charged all the way to the front. Dotson traded sliders with race-long leader Wil Herrington before ultimately settling for second.
