Ethan Dotson seventh with Flo Series ahead of Prairie Dirt Classic at Fairbury
The ASD Motorsports team kicked off the 35th-annual Prairie Dirt Classic on Wednesday afternoon at the famed Fairbury (Ill.) Speedway for the $20,000-to-win FloRacing Night in America show ahead of the two-day crown jewel weekend.
Dotson qualified fifth-fastest in his group before finishing second in his heat race which earned him a spot in the $20,000 main event. Ethan drove to a Top-10 finish in seventh.
The team was not able to find the same speed heading into the weekend after Ethan finished 13th in a preliminary feature on Friday which forced him to take a provisional for Saturday's finale. Dotson finished 26th in the running order.
