Jameson Jams to Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series/BoB 4B 4EVER 40 Win at Mudlick Valley Raceway

WALLINGFORD, KENTUCKY (July 3, 2025)– The Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series Fueled by VP and the Battle of the Bluegrass DIRTcar Series presented by Slicker Graphics would visit Mudlick Valley Raceway in Wallingford, KY on Thursday evening as the track and series raced in memory of “the last true outlaw” Jackie Boggs with the running of the 5th Annual 4B 4EVER 40 and Jason Jameson of Lawrenceburg, IN would take the lead on lap six and survive a pair of late race cautions to claim the victory and a $10,000 payday.

The win by the 40 year-old Jameson would be his first of the season with the tour and his fourth career Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series victory. Jameson pilots the James Rattliff owned Longhorn Chassis powered by a Clements Race Engine with sponsorship from MGL Auto Sales, Grant Lee Farms, JRR Motor Sales, Keltner Contracting, JRR Trucking, The Auto Outlet, and Antonio’s Pizza Pub.

Michael Chilton would jump to the lead at the start of the 5th Annual 4B4EVER 40, with Jason Jameson, Josh Rice, Mike Marlar, and Rusty Schlenk giving chase. Jameson would begin to pressure Chilton for the lead, while Zach Hill would take fifth from Schlenk on lap three. Chilton and Jameson would go side-by-side for the lead, with Jameson leading lap four, while Chilton had the top spot on lap five. Jameson would retake the lead for good on lap six, while Marlar would battle with Rice for third, taking the position on lap nine. Jameson would begin lapping slower traffic on lap twelve, with Marlar going to the runner-up spot by Chilton on lap fourteen, with Schlenk taking fifth back from Hill on the same circuit. The caution would appear on lap fifteen when R.J. Conley would slow with a flat right-rear tire and the attempted restart would not see a full lap scored as Seth Daniels would loop his machine in turn four. Jameson would control the restart, with Marlar, Chilton, Rice, and Schlenk in pursuit. Daulton Wilson would begin to flirt with the top five in the running order and would take the fifth spot from Schlenk on lap eighteen, only to have Schlenk retake the spot one tour later. Meanwhile, Rice would begin to battle with Chilton for third and would claim the position on lap twenty-two, while Wilson would take fifth back again for good from Schlenk on lap twenty-four. Jameson would begin to lap slower traffic again on lap twenty-seven and Marlar would shave about one second off of Jameson’s lead, while Wilson would move by Chilton for the fourth position on lap twenty-nine. The caution would again on lap thirty-five as Zach Hill would slow with a flat right-rear tire and be done for the event. The restart would see only one more lap scored when Rob Anderzack would stop in turn two with mechanical issues. Jameson would hold a comfortable lead the remainder of the way and score the victory over Marlar and Wilson, while Colten Burdette and Chilton would complete the top five. The remainder of the top ten finishers would be Rice, Derek Fisher, Rod Conley, Justin Cooper, and Freddie Carpenter.
