Marlar earns pair of Top-10 finishes in Hillbilly Hundred; Runner-up finish in Baltes Classic
Mike Marlar followed the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series to the other side of Pennsylvania on Friday afternoon to Lernerville Speedway (Sarver, Pa.) to kick off the two-day Hillbilly Hundred.
With 40 Late Model entries on hand, Marlar registered a ninth-place outing in the weekend opener before finishing just outside the Top-5 in the $30,000-to-win finale.
The Skyline Motorsports team then headed over to Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Sunday afternoon to get in a few extra laps before the World 100.
Mike started on the pole of his split-field feature and ran second to Ricky Thornton Jr. in the 25-lap, $5,000-to-win race.
