Derek Groomer competes with Lucas Dirt at Brownstown Speedway

Derek Groomer was one of 34 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series entries at Brownstown (Ind.) Speedway on Saturday night for the $25,000-to-win Indiana Icebreaker.

Qualifying 16th in his stacked qualifying group, Groomer made up one spot in his heat race but was unable to transfer to the 50-lap main event through his B-Main.
