Pair of podium finishes in Stateline Showdown at Boyd's

Following the fourth-fastest qualifying effort, McDowell outran Jensen Ford in his heat race to pick up the win. With $10,000 on the line in the feature, Dale dropped one spot in the 40-lapper to register a third-place finish. He followed Jimmy Owens and Max Blair across the line.
On Saturday, Dale secured his spot into the redraw with a heat race. Receiving the third-starting position for the $20,000-to-win Stateline Showdown finale, McDowell grabbed the lead on the fourth lap and led the majority of the race but was unable to hold off a charging Ryan Gustin on the final circuit. He trailed Gustin to the checkers with Kyle Bronson rounding out the podium.
