Christopher Thram debuts withTKS Motorsports at Knoxville
Christopher Thram embarked on a three-race swing across three states last week, competing in two different cars while making his debut with a new team.
The action began Wednesday at Jackson Motorplex, where Thram took on the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series. After finishing seventh in his heat race, he matched the result in the B-Main, narrowly missing a transfer to the feature.
On Saturday, Thram made his debut with TKS Motorsports at Knoxville Raceway. He opened the night with a solid qualifying effort, but misfortune struck early in his heat race, forcing him to retire on lap three. He ultimately scratched from the B-Main.
Thram closed out the weekend on a positive note Sunday at Huset’s Speedway, charging to an eighth-place finish in the 25-lap feature to wrap up the three-race stretch.
