Jeff Taylor competes in packed Modified field at Arrowhead

A trip to Colcord, Oklahoma’s Arrowhead Speedway was on the docket for Jeff Taylor on Friday. At the 1/3-mile track, the Locust Grove, Arkansas, native competed in a stout 53-car Modified class.

The night’s festivities brought together competitors from the USRA American Racer Modified Series, USRA Heartland Modified Tour and All-American Outlaw Modified Series for a $2,000-to-win program.

Taylor drove his No. 14 car to a seventh-place result in one of six heat races and finished 13th in his B-Main. He started 27th in the 30-lap feature and was scored 26th in the final rundown with a DNF.
