HISTORIC WIN FOR CASEY JOHNSON IN DAIRYLAND 100

Wisconsin Dells WI-The third race for the Alive For 5 Super Late Models presented by Wegner Automotive was fast and furious from start to finish in the Dairyland 100 Presented by Slowey Farms of Westfield. Ryan Farrell and Ty Fredrickson brought the stacked field to the green with Farrell taking the early advantage. Ty Fredrickson would fire to the lead by getting under Farrell off turn four on lap 22. The Trickle 99 winner Fredrickson maintained the lead thru the halfway point earning a $500 bonus from Quality Freight Rate. After the halfway point the heat was cranked up on the racing as Casey Johnson would work furiously on the young driver from Minnesota. Johnson ramped up his attack as the laps would continue to click off at a fever pace. The furious battle allowed Fast Qualifier Luke Fenhaus and Illinois hot shoe Max Kahler to join the battle for the lead. After it seemed that Fredrickson had Johnson’s number after a back and forth battle, Fredrickson would have a slight slip off of turn four opening the door for the Johnson who would not squander the opportunity. Johnson would make the highly contested pass with a mere ten laps to go and drive on to his first Alive for 5 Super Late win of 2025 as the race went green to checkered uninterrupted. Following Casey to the line was Fredrickson ,Fenhaus, Kahler and Jordan Thiel. Weston Marthaler and Nick Egan would win the Quality Freight Rate Dashes. The Dairyland 100 Presented by Slowey Farms goes into the record books as the fasted 100 lap race in DRP’s 63 year history taking just 23 minutes and 22 seconds. After the smoke cleared Casey Johnson emerges with a 16 point lead over John DeAngelis in the Alive for 5 Super Late Model Points with just 2 races remaining. The Alive for 5 Super Late Models Presented By Wegner Automotive returns to DRP August 9th for the Badgerstate 100.
