Podium finish at Tri-City Speedway

Friday night found Kolby Vandenbergh in action at Tri-City Speedway (Granite City, Ill.) piloting his Vandenbergh Concrete & Excavating No. 15 Late Model for the regular night of racing. Coming in second in his heat behind Gordy Gundaker, Vandenbergh locked into the fourth-starting position for the A-Main. Clawing forward one spot in the 25-lap affair, Kolby notched a third place finish behind Gundaker and Billy Laycock with Michael Kloos and Jason Riggs rounding out the Top-5.

Saturday night's MARS Racing Series sanctioned contest at Peoria Speedway (Peoria, Ill.) fell victim to Mother Nature.
