Kolby Vandenbergh finishes 14th in Spring Showcase at FALS

Kolby Vandenbergh was one of 28 Mars Racing Series entries on hand at Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, Ill.) on Friday afternoon for the Farmer City 74. Grabbing the fourth-and-final transfer spot in his heat race, Vandenbergh locked into the 15th-starting position for the $10,000-to-win A-Main. On Saturday afternoon at Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Ill.) for the Spring Showcase, Kolby secured his spot into the main event with a third-place finish in his heat. With $15,000 on the line, Vandenbergh dropped five spots in the 50-lapper to finish 14th.
