Top-10 finish in Modified in All Star Classic at Maquoketa
Travis Denning made the trip to Maquoketa Speedway over the weekend to compete in the Modified ranks for the two-day Darkside All Star Classic.
Friday’s opener saw Denning earn a transfer spot in his heat race, but a deck-height infraction docked him two positions, sending him to a B-Main where he finished seventh.
Bouncing back on Saturday, Denning advanced from seventh to fourth in his heat to secure a feature starting spot. He carried that momentum into the main event, moving forward three positions to notch a 10th-place finish in the weekend finale.
