Chase Burda
First Heat Race Win in Street Stock
Owendale Mi. on July 15, 2017 Chase went out for my 7th heat race and he scored his first win in a UMP Street Stock!! There were 9 cars in the race, he started 4th with only a 8 lap heat race. Got up to 2nd and then passed for the lead with 3 laps to go! Chase was racing with guys much older then him. When he came off the track all you could see was smiles. He told his crew "I was so excited that when I pulled into victory lane for my victory picture I forgot to put the car in park, and had to jump back in to stop it". Everyone was cheering me on and they all couldn't believe that he was only 12 years old racing a full size car.
We will be back this weekend hopefully with two cars. We hopes to have his small block modified ready to go for Saturday night.
