Bryan Hulbert - SAPULPA, Okla. (March 21, 2025) Picking up his first win of the 2025 season, Blake Hahn cashed Friday's $2,000 winner's check at Creek County Speedway during the ASCS Sooner Region opener.
Career victory No. 13 for Hahn with the ASCS Sooner Region, the win is the sixth for the Sapulpa native at his home track in ASCS competition.
Running eighth to second by Lap 10, the chase for the lead was on as Seth Bergman, who worked around Ryder McCutcheon at the start, found himself darting through heavy traffic. Allowing the No. 52 to close the a 1.5-second gap, a move off the top of the third and fourth turn was all it took for Hahn to capitalize.
Squeezing between Bergman and the wall, Hahn took command on Lap 15.
Red with 10 to go after an expired engine coated the bottom of the third and fourth turns, the tiller was put to work, and in doing so, presented a potential challenge to Hahn, but the cushion would continue to be the best route, with Hahn winning by 1.588-seconds.
Seth Bergman crossed second, with New Mexico's Caleb Saiz hard charging from 16th to bronze. Sean McClelland and Alex Sewell made up the top five.
The Duvall Electric USRA Modifieds and McCause Construction Factory Stocks were also on hand with Brandon "Dizzy" Dean topping the Modifieds, while Matt French led the way with the Factory Stocks.
