Seawright shines with podium finish in Clash at the Mag
Joining a huge field of 54 Super Late Models, Sam Seawright rolled into Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Miss.) on Friday evening for the two-day Clash at the Mag with the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series.
Seawright fell back in his heat race on opening night which relegated him to start 20th in the $5,000-to-win feature. Sam charged passed his competitors in the 30-lap feature and made up 15 positions to finish fifth.
Starting off the night better on Saturday, Sam put down the quickest lap in his qualifying group and finished runner-up in his heat. Rolling off from the fourth-row in the $12,000-to-win finale, Seawright made his way onto the podium in third behind Shane Clanton and Cade Dillard.
