Poore dedicates season opener to beloved mascot Wrangler
Terry Poore’s 2025 campaign began this past weekend, but it was marked by a heavy heart. For the first time in 13 years, Poore hit the track without his beloved dog, Wrangler, who had passed away after living a full and cherished life.
"We kicked off our season at Smoky Mountain however we were missing one of our most important member of TP Motorsports," Poore said. "Our beloved mascot wrangler left us on Thursday and our race team will never be the same without him. We tried to pull off a win for him but we fell short."
Poore is set to return to action this weekend for the Scott Sexton Memorial ‘Spring Thaw’ on Saturday at Volunteer Speedway.
