Podium Finish in Season-Opener at Screven

Chris Ferguson kicked off the 2020 season on Friday night at Screven Motor Speedway (Sylvania, Georgia) powering his K and K Trucking No. 22 Late Model entry for the Winter Freeze X. Drawing 24 cars for the two-day event, Ferguson followed up the third fastest time in his qualifying group with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Ross Bailes. Starting the $10,010-to-win A-Main in fifth, Chris improved two spots to place 3rd behind Brandon Overton and Bailes with Gregg Satterlee and Jason Covert rounding out the Top-5. (TDW Photography)

The following night for the $20,010 top prize, Chris scored a runner-up finish in his heat behind Casey Roberts which positioned him seventh on the starting grid for the main event. Dropping three spots in the 60-lap affair, Ferguson posted a 10th place finish.
