Ferguson grabs pair of Top-10 finishes at Sugar Creek and East Alabama

Over Memorial Day weekend, Chris Ferguson planned to join the Schaeffer's Oil Spring Nationals for a three-day stretch starting at Sugar Creek Raceway (Blue Ridge, Ga.) on Friday afternoon.

Debuting a brand-new Stinger Chassis, Ferguson missed the setup in qualifying but made up seven positions in the 40-lap, $8,553-to-win main event and landed inside the Top-10 in ninth.

With unpredictable weather forecasts, Chris made the decision to head to East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Ala.) instead.

Starting 14th in the $10,000-to-win show, Ferguson once again charged forward from the back and finished just outside the Top-5 in sixth.
