Austin Holcombe starts 2025 season at Volusia Speedway Park for DIRTcar Nationals
Opening up his 2025 season, Austin Holcombe checked into Volusia Speedway Park (De Leon Springs, Fla.) on Monday afternoon ahead of a full-week of DIRTcar UMP Modified competition in the DIRTcar Nationals.
Holcombe kicked off his week with a fourth-place feature finish then recorded finishes of 10th and sixth on Tuesday and Wednesday. Austin scored his first podium finish on Thursday night in third-place then improved upon that on Friday evening as he ran runner-up to George Dixon in his 20-lap feature.
Locked into Saturday's finale, Holcombe started ninth in the 30-lap main event and wound up with a 13th-place outing.
