Morgan Ward takes 4th at Murray County Speedway
On a hot Friday night, Morgan Ward earned a top-five finish in a 29-car Tri-State Late Model Series field at Murray County Speedway in Slayton, Minnesota.
Ward drove her Grosz Excavating No. 37 ride to the win in her heat race on the 3/8-mile oval, positioning her fourth to start the 25-lap, $1,500-to-win feature. She also finished in the fourth spot, taking the checkered flag behind Blair Nothdurft, Jeffrey Larson and J.T. Wasmund. Fifth place went to Charlie Olsen.
Ward is currently third in the Tri-State Model Series standings.
