2013 Racing Season Finally Starts After 7 Weeks of Rain Outs!
After 7 consecutive rain outs for Jackson Speedway, I decided to get my racing fix in St Croix Valley Raceway...ahhh, FINALLY, A RACE!! I started 8th in heat race and pulled through to take the WIN! The rain started shortly after the heat...we waited for rain to stop. Once the rain concluded, the race cars got on track to begin packing. The track changed with all the moisture and became tacky. A tacky track means a FAST track! I started in 4th position and finished 2nd. Congratulations to Ty Sampair who started in the pole position and took the checkered flag. The St. Croix drivers are faster this year than they have ever been! Keep up good driving...the competition is fierce!
