From the back to the front for the win
This weekend featured Legend Car racing on the Road Course at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Carter claimed the pole in SemiPro with a time of 01:29.284
Won his heat race and started the first feature on the pole. We changed tires for the first feature and the tires weren't quite heat cylcled enough yet. Although they started coming in toward the end of the race, Carter was only able to hold onto 2nd place.
The second race featured an inverted field. Carter started on the outside of the last row. A full course caution at lap 4 abunched the field up for a restart with Carter in 6th. Carter put up the fastest lap of the race and the fastest for SemiPro all day on lap 7 of 01:28.936. He made the pass for the lead on the last lap and held on for the win!
