Iverson competes in Modified World Championship at Mississippi Thunder Speedway

Calvin made the trek to the Mississippi Thunder Speedway in Fountain City, Wisconsin for the $100,025 to win World Modified Championships this past weekend. Thursday night, he qualified 9th before falling out of his heat race and working forward from 9th to 6th in the night's b-main.

Friday, he qualified 14th and then raced from 6th to 4th in his heat, putting himself 20th in the night's feature. He finished 17th.

Saturday, he made the trip to Cedar Lake and after running second in his heat race, he started on the front row and ran fifth when the checkered flew.
